As a representative region of Chungcheongbuk-do Province, Chungju City plans to establish the Chungju Museum of Art in order to preserve and share the unique artistic value of Chungju City.
Chungju Museum of Art is a space that contributes to the spread of culture and arts in the Chungcheongbuk-do region, going beyond the appreciation of cultural arts and exchanges with artists for the citizens of Chungju. Linked with Hoamji Ecological Park, it will serve as a specialized space that penetrates naturally into the daily lives of citizens, and we hope it will be a museum with a view of natural landscapes.
As a 'cultural exchange hub where everyday life becomes art,' Chungju Museum of Art collects and researches the art history of the region to create a new ecosystem for art in Chungju and contribute to the spread of culture and arts in the Chungcheongbuk-do region.
Chungju Museum of Art, which interacts with the local community, will be positioned as a representative cultural facility in Chungju, a central city in the inland high-tech industrial belt, and will open up a new future for Chungju where life becomes art.
