The project is located in Jiangshan City, Zhejiang Province. The surrounding area is densely populated with industrial plants. This design breaks away from the traditional zoning arrangement of factory areas and takes into consideration a comprehensive range of operational departments such as management, operations, research and development, production, and inspection. By cleverly integrating multiple functions in a central space shaped like the Chinese character "回," the factory buildings and offices are closely connected. This design not only meets the daily requirements for efficient operations but also fulfills the future needs of the factory as a showcase for the company.
The design scheme was developed through in-depth communication and visits with the client, gaining a profound understanding of the company's spirit. As a trusted service provider in the global power measurement field, the design embodies a spirit of rationality and pragmatism. The main image of the headquarters building emphasizes the rational order of space, and the rigorous façade system conveys the company's spirit.
A public atrium unfolds in the headquarters' office area along a large staircase, where people from both sides of the offices gather for social interactions during breaks. The external design of the building also includes open corridors, allowing people to wander and enjoy the courtyard's diverse views. The design creates comfortable spaces for communication and interaction within the concise and efficient corporate environment.
The future factory not only embodies the future of space but also expresses confidence in sustainable development. The project takes into full consideration the energy efficiency management after the building's operation. It utilizes the atrium for natural lighting and ventilation and enhances the thermal insulation performance of the external wall structure. Solar panels are installed on the factory's roof as the main source of energy.
