Yongning Taolijiangnan Health Centre

This project is located in the Yinchuan City of Ningxia, nestling at the south foot of Helan Mountain in the upper reaches of the Yellow River. The natural forms borrowed as the genes, "mountain, plain and river" as the spatial images, a contemporary neutral tone is created through the treatment of stone, wood, art and lighting. In this serene seclusion where one seeks a nostalgia for home in the oriental charm, the prologue opens, enlivened with the scene and deriving graceful postures. At the same time, the eyes and heart are filled with enriched colours and splendours. The ceremony starts in the reception area rendered with warm grey stone and bronze medal. The light pours in through the floor-to-ceiling windows and immediately brings the natural landscape into view. Thus, one's mind is to be stabilised and comforted. A sense of tranquillity, elegance and harmony are blended into the seemingly solemn space, where the function and aesthetic relations merged into one.
The design adheres to the natural and environment-friendly concept. The material selection combines the local attributes with cost-effective methods.
