This case, situated in an urban area covered with skyscrapers, is built in traditional cube shape. Given that busy and stressful modern people are craving for spiritual relaxation and peace, the idea of “art hall” derived from that, putting practicality, aesthetics and art together. Spatial perception and visual performance bring people greatness and steadiness; at the same time, the difficulty, coming along with the restriction on the original building height and insufficient land, maximizes the use of all spaces and design them properly. In this multifunctional sales reception center, all the details in the entire design and the structure are indispensable parts. The designer takes both function and appearance into consideration. Through soft structures as well as the hard ones, the hexagon grid external walls, hidden path sign between lines, and the idea of blending humanities and arts into the space, it all becomes a plan with experimental spirit and considerate design.
