The owner of the house, a Christian family of four people.
In order to outline the quiet atmosphere preferred by the owner, the designer used a large number of simple gray materials, with low-key gray color to establish the character of the space, and with the rose white ceiling, milk tea color wood grain herringbone flooring.
Because the owner wanted to integrate the symbol of the cross into the space, the cross was hollowed out by laser cutting on the laminate next to the TV. When the owner turns on the lights, the projection of the cross jumps out onto the wall. In addition, the designer integrated the cross design into the sliding door outside the piano and the handle of the electric cabinet.
In order to avoid the sense of pressure brought by the existing spatial layout of low house height, the designer made the ceiling moderately exposed, and replaced the traditional chandelier with track lights, reducing the barrier design, so that the public space appears open , and more to extend the line of sight to the outdoor landscape.
The designer vacated the space behind the sofa and installed the hanging points for Total Body Resistance Exercise (TRX) on the ceiling.
