The red velvet house

This modern look apartment is designed for a client who enjoys balancing work and life through travelling, cooking and collecting paintings around the world. Designing for such dynamic and passionate client, the look has to be modern chic, cozy but sophisticated. The inspiration is from client himself having dreamed stainless counter top and black cabinet’s kitchen to start. Combining a relaxing built-in seating with red color velvet wrapped all around right next to kitchen, which forms a focal point with client’s favorite European painting in the center. The modern design for client, the color scheme is white, grey and black with touch of bright red to represent his passion for life. The flooring for public area is the wood look title while in the private rooms, herringbone wood floor is used to echo the same color tone. Bedrooms are designed with simple but different texture look with Eco-friendly materials. Master bathroom is given to grey color scheme- different shades of grey tiles to present modern look with multi brands of sanitary.Final result of the design reached client’s expectation and also gave a better quality life environment for living.
