The green mountains and flowing water

Fengshui is an indispensable element in Eastern interior design. The designer placed a tailor-made copper strip behind the fireplace to create a hexagram symbol and an aquarium next to the dining table, showing creativity that combines design with fortune, luck, and safety. The residence is equipped with a beautiful mountain scene and the advantage of an expansive terrace. Yet, the original face did not allow users in or out from the front; therefore, the designer opened it up and installed a foldable door to maintain transparency between indoors and outdoors. A meditation room is also designed for the owner. Its lattice wall is made with solid wood, and the warm color-toned wood grains and its simple, elegant colors echo with the greenery outdoor that could give comfort to both body and soul. The transparent private space’s design is simple, while the bedroom and living room are applied with the warm color-toned solid wood; the simple yet elegant lattice is set into the bedside boards.
