This project is an interior case of an apartment building’s public facilities. A large window sill is set up to incorporate the scene into the interior. The appearance of light and shadow swinging back and forth makes the space flow with a tranquil and leisurely atmosphere. The cornerstones found during the base excavation are preserved and displayed as decorations as if telling the story of the building from scratch.
As soon as walking into the center of the hall, one will see the large white marble wall matched with a black linear frame, creating a sense of simplicity and neatness. The cornerstones found during the base excavation are displayed in the stone walls to create a different sense of layering. Following the gray floor tiles to the counter and waiting area on the right, black lines and light brown floor tiles divide the space. Besides, using grey marble with linear back panels and lighting creates a sophisticated counter area. At the front waiting area, the designer selects the seats made of geometric blocks such as brown wood, gray stone, and green ones that are spliced together to create a natural and greenish feeling.
