Staycation

This project involves an overhaul for a 20-year-old, 7-story single house of long narrow layout. In an attempt to transcend inherent boundaries, the designer embraces the staircase as the central element, inviting ample light and vistas, fostering connection and openness.

Black, white, and grayscale predominate overall, whereby ironworks, crystal panels, wood elements, matte tiles, eco materials, LED lighting, and more are employed for a healthy and vibrant environment.

Public areas harmoniously merge, extending to an outdoor terrace, while the staircase itself becomes an artful installation. Crafted with clear glass handrails, it enhances spatial variation, light interplay, and functionality. Bespoke stainless-steel dining table adorns the open kitchen. Convenience and style seamlessly intertwine, with attention to details extending to the surrounding cabinetry. Here, the homeowner finds her culinary stage and a space that nurtures family bonds. The master suite's skylit bathroom exudes hotel-inspired elegance. Delicate craftsmanship, concealed air vents, and clean lines create a liberating ambiance, resonate a tasteful lifestyle.
