PPGate

PPGate is the first retail design for the international paint finish brand "PPG" at Suzhou, China. The interior design idea was from the PPG's application for both interiors and exteriors of the building. So the window is the common media for both sides. The designer would like to use "window" as the design element for the shop. Shop front and traffic flow is very important to the shop. Therefore, the designer proposed the sharp and eye-catching shop front with many colour panels to match the PPG's character. Besides, the traffic flow was clearly designed. After entering the shop, customers would see the TV screen with the brand's introduction, then there are series of display panel and some demonstration units. Finally, there is a casual meeting area for further discussion about the products.
