The space is a 28-ping first-hand residence; the original three-room spatial has decreased into two after eliminating the living room, creating a more transparent and expansive public area. Meanwhile, the owner’s hobbies are hiking and traveling, and has hoped to also feel nature even back at home; therefore, the designer draws inspiration from the Free Forest and aimed to build a green wonderland that exists far away from the city. First, the public area is intentionally applied with college cypress ceilings. A hydroponic planting wall is equipped on the entrance’s side view; meanwhile, grey mirror materials are used aside on the wall to allow the greenery to reflect and expand towards the other corners of the room. The selected materials of the cabinets in the space have also applied stone-grained materials as an extension. With the gathering of adequate lightings and air ventilation, the overall is allowed to deliver a refreshing and straightforward spatial aesthetic through the spread out of cypress, stone grains, special paints, and planting walls.
