Osker immediately invites you to sit back and relax.
This armchair has a very pronounced and curved design providing distinctive characteristics such as perfectly crafted timber joineries, leather armrests and cushioning.
The many details and the use of high quality materials: leather and solid wood guarantee a contemporary and timeless design.
The inspiration for Osker originated from a preference for Scandinavian seating furniture.
For this armchair I started with the idea of designing a low armchair that was fully upholstered.
However after repeatedly presenting the design in my head and on the drawing board, I realized that this chair deserved to be undressed.
As a result Osker was created using vissible structures in combination with separate leather seat cushions.
For this design it was important to make a good 3d drawing of the model.
The 3d model was needed at a later stage of the production process to be able to give all elements such as legs and backrest the correct shapes and to make them with a cnc machine.
The major challenges in the design was making the connections in the round parts.
