New Chapter of life

The design concept revolves couple’s expectations for their new life. As the couple would like to cultivate their child’s musical talent, the designer specially make space for a piano between living room and dining room. A floating shelf used to display music scores matches with warm white light. The neat vertical strip lighting symmetrically lines out the accent wall in the hallway. The accent wall behind piano and TV are painted exquisitely with a unique blue mineral paint which is one of the eye-catching designs in the area. The façade extending from the entrance to the living room was divided by vertical black and white lines looking like a string of notes welcoming people’s arrival. A black middle-hollow but bilateral symmetry showcase with white shaped doors is near the dining table to display owners’ collection. The designer decorate the right side of the cabinet with white clapboard to add asymmetrical elements in symmetry. The open kitchen is the focus of the interior space. Even people sit under the floating glass shelves with metal straps hanging from the ceiling, they don’t feel oppressive due to delicate but light lines creating interesting interactions in the space.
