After a thorough understanding of the clients, the designer set patio as the main concept, shaped the image of which with acrylic above the dining and adopted curved element matching with pure white and almond color to set a gentle tone. Furthermore, the inspection and maintenance opening of the ceiling concealed split air conditioner is hidden under every piece of acrylic, both aesthetics and function are secured.

As to the function aspect, the countertops and facades of the book shelf were adopted marbles and wood veneers that are easy to clean and dirty proof. What’s more, the designer customized the storage cabinets and eliminated one of the inherent bathrooms into a storage room according to the clients’ needs.

Taking advantage of the inherent natural light, and by transparent glass, shutters and open design, the use of artificial illumination was greatly reduced. The designer not only practiced the purpose of sustainability but also well secured the interaction between the habitants, space and lights; such as the living room, bedrooms, areas being used frequently were set on the sunny side allowing the clients to experience daily life with positive energy.
