MM-590 Dynamic and Condenser Microphone

MIPRO MM-590 is the world's first dual dynamic and condenser microphone that accepts both dynamic or condenser microphone capsules, which are the most commonly used microphone types today. Optimized for both vocals and speech in live or fixed-installation applications, MM-590 can be connected to any mixer or amplifier, with or without phantom power due to the patented three-mode circuit switch.
Users can apply two different interchangeable capsules to the MIPRO MM–590 due to different situations. Since the MU-59 dynamic microphone capsule employs magnetic principle with a voice coil attached to a diaphragm to vibrate and generate the electrical signal, its multi anti-pop grill protects against external impact. Hence the sound effects are more suitable for outdoor stage. In comparison, the MU-90 condenser microphone capsule employs electrically-charged diaphragm principle with ultra-thin diaphragm to vibrate, converting it into an electrical signal. Since its supercardioid directionality limits feedback and the microphone sustains high SPL without distortion, its superior sound quality is ideal for excellent acoustic performance, presenting sound as its purest form.
