Light Field

A traditional residence that has gone through many years carries the stories and memories of the clients living together for many years. The team retains the original structure and living pattern of the building, and they restore the essence and status of the space through the simplest construction methods and designs. Different from the general arrangement of "stairs" as a transition zone, the team regards "stairs" as the main part of space design. In the white framed landscape, the stairs are lined with black backing and neat lines, supplemented by strong contrast and unique lighting to highlight the main line that goes through the two floors and the mezzanine. Along the vertical axis, the staircase serves as an important medium, connecting the relationship between the various fields, allowing space and space to consistent with each other harmoniously. In addition, the designers adopt a step-by-step narrative technique to present different scenes with the tortuous paths and changes in the light and shadow. When the clients walk on the stairs, they can look around the space, and enjoy more aesthetic pleasure and the exploration of life.
