With high design standards, kipina stands out with a safe, hygienic, eco-friendly and brand related unique design; a research was conducted for the selection of materials and finishes in coordination with a child psychologist.
A pastel color palette was chosen according to when children responded the best; Strong or too many colors creates anxiety and stress for children. Therefore an idea of minimalism design was adapted, using simple and natural forms for visual comfort
One tone of Light color wood is used for flooring, doors and furniture which creates a pleasant atmosphere. All but one “feature” wall in classrooms are painted in white, the feature wall is painted in a discreet but clear and functional style.
Safety, aesthetics, and function are the main points when renovating old buildings bought by the franchisees, some points are: Evacuating a floor in less than 8 seconds, developing child-proof materials, double holding pen lock systems entrances, anti-slip and anti-bacterial threading steps, high IP of electrical sockets, door handles at 1.5 m above ground level, and much more.
