Taking the imagery of rolling mountains as the main symbol, this design is special for its Japanese style, sketched out by the Chinese parasol tree and the earth tone colors. Instead of the usual interior design, it focuses more on the functions of the space and was inspired by the style of Aman Tokyo.
Once entering, the elegance of wood draws the attention. The imagery of nature comes as the first impression of the space: neat, bright but full of details. By playing with different colors and patterns of the wood, it builds up layers of spatial perception. What is more, the chosen wood is much resistant against humidity and temperature.
The whole design is rather visually simple when browsing through every area, giving a sense of smoothness and cosiness. The focus emphasizes on the public area, where the living room, kitchen and tatami form as an open space, going from one end to the other at one glance. The simple yet advanced and user-friendly design perfectly interprets a living space under the background of sharing economy. Stylistically, by integrating both classic and modern style, natural and metropolitan vibe, it strike s a balance to create a unique taste of the place.
