This project is a 148.7 square meter 4-story house located in Yuanlin, Changhua. The clients are a couple of successful businessmen who have settled in Taiwan. To present the requirements of the clients, the designer uses "grand" as the theme. At the same time, a modern style was incorporated to express the client's tastes in life. The public area is the core of life, gathering the footprints of a family of four. The designer used a large piece of marble to create the impression of a "grand", and then extends and set off the theme with a special coating to enrich the visual depth. In addition to the low saturation colors of gray, black, and white, the design also repeatedly uses mirrors, system panels, and wood grilles to outline rectangular color lumps and smooth lines. This design technique is not only repeated on the façade but also on the metal lines and lights on the ceiling. As for the private area, the exquisite design is reduced to the impression of minimalism. The master bedroom, which is in a single color, has a cabinet to brighten up the visual space between the solid and void. The gentle color tone allows the client couple stays away from the hustle and bustle of life.
