The design approach turns complexity into simplicity. The continuous arrangement of materials conceals the door to the private domain. After changing the broken plan layout, a simple, pure and light-filled apartment comes to life. In the square layout, living and dining room are located along the horizontal axis. The study room and bedroom are located on two sides. As a central point, the living room and dining room unite the family members and allow them to inhabit the same space without distracting or interrupting each other.
Upon opening the door, the light guides you to explore a mysterious path. However, the reflection of the mirror gives the path a spacious vibe. The natural light adds luster to the earth-colored ground. The beige-toned linen fabric decorates the facade in the public area, which adds visual warmth to the residence. And the use of metal plates in the details brings an elegant, low-key luxurious look to the space. The slightly recessed TV wall allows the TV to be embedded in the wall, creating a neat and tidy view. With grayscale semi-gloss lacquer as the base, differences in colors add rich layers. The reflection of the gray mirror on the lower level creates more depth and creates a sense of balance between dark and light colors. Freeing it from the existing frame, the TV cabinet is pushed out to the floor to store the equipment, adding magnificence to the main wall.
In the dining room, staggered LED strips are embedded in the fabric wall, exuding extravagance and adding warmth to the dining experience. A glass sliding door separates the kitchen area. The transparent media can effectively block the grease and smoke without blocking the view and emotional interaction.
Tranquility gently flows into the bedroom, while the light brown bedside wall and headboard instill a sense of calm and relaxation. Woven fabric wraps the grating, and the delicate shapes continue to the structural columns, which remove the abruptness smoothly.
