The original layout of the apartment felt cramped and claustrophobic: the front door opened to a wall, with two small rooms on the opposite side. The design team transformed the 287 ft² (26 m²) space by adopting an open kitchen concept for a brighter, roomier feel. The living room now features concrete wall finish, elegant false ceiling panels, and a wooden bathroom door with reeded glass. The kitchen flows into the study, where the spacious master bedroom is hidden behind a wardrobe door. Inside, the giant oval-shaped window wisely separates two different areas and brightens the rooms. Not only does it adds a playful touch to the design, but it also helps to connect the couple no matter where they are in the house.
