Inspired by the La Chapelle de Ronchamp by Le Corbusier, HBbeauty radiates its tension and rhythm via architectural deconstruction, light and shadow shaping, spatial materials, display and layout. The unique architectural form, with its irregular walls and hole cutting, breaks with the conventional flat and linear blocks. Scattered beams of light fall into the building, gradually reflecting the church-like interior. As people enter, the deliberately low ceiling wraps them in a sense of novelty, order and privacy.
How light and shadow interact with the building and how blocks and structure work together is the key design logic. The area gives an air of elegance, purity and implicit shock. From the pure fair-faced concrete, wooden materials, orderly seating, to the flamed wood installation, each element is a key point. Besides, arched doors and curve staircase collide with the building’s original straight lines, enriching the layers with a slow transition and vitality.
Thus, HBbeauty has emerged from the fixed paradigm. With its spiritual core and immersive experience, it has built a deep empathy between consumers and the brand while achieving the sustainable economic impact.
