Through design team’s comprehensive analysis, visual equilibrium could be achieved by placing classrooms on north and south sides where day light and natural ventilation are provided, while the informal learning space, which is designed into a square-box shape, is exquisitely laid out in the center in an asymmetric manner. ‘The square box’ connects classrooms on both sides, and it also becomes an important transportation hub across all sections.
The color scheme in space, with black, white and gray as the base color to highlight the theme orange paint, echoes with the existence of sun, implies confidence, viability, enthusiasm, and leave it open to interpretation.
The open-style lounge area is full of artistic charisma, in which a homely sense of belonging is established, making study, work and life integral as a whole.
It is sunny and clean in classroom spaces. The top light is soft, with evenly bright illumination, which can effectively protect children's eyesight and improve the quality of teaching. In such a pleasant and comfortable learning environment, children will have a stronger and higher willingness to learn.
