In the multi-layered space, pure white and neutral gray are used as the base. Along with natural warm wood tones, they add instant warmth to the space. Sleek and clean-cut lines, paired with smooth curves, give a room tension. In the open floor plan, the light deconstructs the volumes one by one along the traffic flow to build a relaxing view for everyday life. The living room features a noticeably high ceiling. High window-to-wall ratio ensures that the home gets plenty of natural light. As a medium, glass keeps the spaces separate but still allows them to be linked together, thus adding visual depth while remaining light and airy.
Underneath the staircase, there is a hidden storage room. The side is outlined with wood veneer to eliminate the monotony of the volume. The white, delicate frame extends along the stairs to the second floor and then turns into a flexible curved fence. The transparent glass and the hollow-out mesh create a light and airy look.
