D525 Barcelona has been designed through the concept of sustainable renovation, recovering a building with the aim of reducing its environmental impact of use, extending its efficient useful life. Its execution was carried out with materials of strict respect for the environment and a comprehensive environmental quality management plan, incorporating all the design and construction requirements to achieve LEED Gold certification.

NATURAL LIGHT & PURE AIR through the main façade´s large windows, defined by photocatalytic krion 3D modules that purify the air.

ECO-EFFICIENT & CLEAN ENERGY through the south façade´s photovoltaic louvers.

GREEN & NATIVE PLANT SPECIES are integrated into the roof to provide an extra insulation layer and mitigate the heat island effect.

SUSTAINABILITY & BUILDING SKIN. A detailed study of the environment was made to design the project´s skin, improving its energy efficiency.

DEVELOPED & COORDINATED IN BIM
The project has been developed using the latest BIM cloud technology for its complete coordination, integrating virtual models of architecture, engineering, interior design and the urban environment, generating a coordinated digital building.
