This project is the new headquarters of China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) that comprises a retail podium and two high-rise office towers, providing 240,000 sqm of office space and 22,000 sqm of retail space to the region.
Two office towers are in diagonally opposite corners, sitting on the retail podiums divided by a 24-hr public corridor.
High-quality supporting space is essential to enhance the quality of the project. Tower A’s double-height atrium and roof garden terrace redefine the class of modern office, while Tower B's clubhouses provides a unique leisure experience and splendid cityscape views.
A visual corridor through the podium connects the entrance plaza and metro station. The veranda spaces of retail and Tower A inherit the vernacular architectural language of the Guangdong region.
The design draws inspiration from the railway tracks, which relate to the client’s corporate spirit - ‘climbing to the top against all odds’. With a high-low staggered building outline and a simple articulated façade, using double track lines to symbolize the moving railway track, CRCC South China Headquarters Building Project lights up the skyline in Panyu CBD.
