The design team renovated the 15-year-old store into an interior design company. The design team has created a complex functional layout with two main requirements: "office" and "construction", including four areas: kitchen, meeting area, staff office, and construction and equipment storage. Visitors can immerse themselves in the four distinctly different environments to gain a practical understanding of the interior design and construction process. Moreover, the design team has made good use of the space on the pedestrian arcade to create a window-like view of the store. The floor-to-ceiling glass maximizes lighting, the interior has a wide view of the street, and the storefront has an ornamental effect. The open-plan kitchen island can unite people's hearts and inject warmth into the commercial space. It also extends the functions of the café and baking classroom, giving the space the possibility of more diversified forms. Finally, the rough industrial ceiling of the meeting area forms a visual conflict with the fine ceiling of the kitchen. They complement each other's characteristics and are harmonious, achieving the effect that one plus one is greater than two.
