Challenger League Sports-Themed Retail District

This case involves the reconstruction of the sports floor of the mall. After undertaking this project, we made a comprehensive analysis based on the business status and customer hierarchy of the mall. We broke through the traditional layout of indoor shopping centers in our design, and divided this floor in nine themes. With the design concept of “community first”, we reengineered the business system, introduced an active and passive resilience strategy, and offered diversified and contextualized public spaces based on the current trends and interests of the youth, breaking the limitations of “traditional boxes”, and infusing an open soul into the space.

In this case, sustainable materials like plant fiberboards are used to serve as finishes in place of mainstream materials, and to meet the fire prevention demand. Energy-saving and environment-friendly LED lamps are used for lighting, and new technologies are used to create variable color LED strips and dynamic LED boxes, and brilliant varying lighting effects, thereby meeting commercial operation needs, and creating a more high-tech and modern atmosphere.
