The office park comprises of three major components: a Headquarters Building, a Visitor Center, and two phases of Office Parks. The client envisions the headquarters campus to create a sense of belonging for its staff, fulfilling its 10000 staff’s need of daily work.
‘Connectivity’ is the most important consideration. The design is inspired by a space station. By connecting the ring to a central circulation core, staff can move around in the headquarters conveniently.
The headquarters building is divided into four courtyards. Each courtyard features different themes based on the functions of the ground floor: events, sports, dining and conference. The courtyards are interconnected by a central atrium which creates a communal hub of the headquarters.
The main entrance is inspired by a bird’s beak. A smooth continuous curtain wall is achieved with cold roll forming glass.
There are many covered outdoor spaces on ground floor, bringing fresh air and cross ventilation to courtyards. Computer simulation to evaluate solar heat gain along facade to reduce the building energy consumption. Vertical fin as sun-shading device were applied with varying fin depth according to solar heat gain
