This project is a four-story old house with the advantage of the lighting. However, due to the wrong space planning, the lighting is insufficient, and the partition does not meet the usage requirements. Therefore, the design team focused on lighting, layout clutter, and other issues to provide solutions. The design team not only used the corners as a storage room but also reshaped the layout and reduced the irregularity of the building's contours to maximize the use of space. At the same time, the design team also created more spacious and ventilated independent bathrooms for the clients to match their needs. It is worth mentioning that the multi-purpose room on the second floor is separated by four sliding doors, which can be expanded as a living room or study room. In addition, the door can be fully closed and locked from the inside to become a temporary room and can be used as a projection screen by lowering the white roller shutter. Last but not least, there are long tables, an outdoor terrace, and a bar on the penthouse, which are not only with good lighting but also convenient for clients to hold parties or enjoy the night view.
