The dining area is one of the focal points of the project. The designer divides the space with glass bricks, creating separate yet interconnected seating areas with the interplay of light and shadows. By the windows, guests can enjoy the lush bamboo forest, savoring the gusts of wind and indulging in the view of flowing waters, allowing themselves to immerse in the harmony of nature while relishing the culinary delights.
The essence of bamboo culture lies in the "humble valley" that encompasses both poetry and Zen. To incorporate bamboo culture into the design means to embody the concept of boundless "empty realm." Leveraging the structural characteristics of the project, the designer introduces natural daylight into the second-floor scenic area, blending the architecture with the passage of time and the changing seasons. By adorning the space with time, the empty realm becomes a vessel for infinite transformations, encapsulating the landscape, waters, and human culture of Chongqing within a confined space. Thus, guests can unveil the breathtaking moments hidden within this secret sanctuary as soon as they encounter it.
