Barrel nº One

Barrel nº one is an exclusive production of Vinho Verde, also known as ‘’Young Wine’’, by Quinta Picouto de Cima.
Since the entire production was aged in one single barrel done through traditional methods, this edition stands out amongst others from the same type of wine.
It was quickly decided that the barrel would be very present in the visual aspect of the wine’s packaging as well. Being represented by the use of copper foil and the barrel’s nameplate figure that shows the number of the bottle in the collection. As for the typographies: it's a blend between a strong and traditional looking serif font and handwriting for the grape variety. A premium textured paper was chosen to enhance the exclusivity of this collection.
