The primary objective in this particular project was to overcome the space constraints present within the bedroom. The designer, in this regard, employed their creativity to the fullest and ingeniously transformed the area into an open study, which presented a myriad of possibilities within the confined space. To further enhance the aesthetics, the walls were adorned with a clay coating, providing an exhibition of the original material texture. Additionally, the use of iron elements to outline the clay walls resulted in an industrial-style ambiance that greatly embellished the overall decor of the home.
Upon entering, one will notice that the open layout of the living room, dining room, kitchen, and study creates a comfortable and spacious experience for the residents. The study and kitchen are separated by a low wall and iridescent glass, which prevents the flow of grease and smoke while allowing natural light to freely enter the space. The study features a wood-grained bookcase with color-hopping doors, giving the area a lively and calming feel. This multi-functional space can be used for reading or as an office, maximizing the limited space available.
