Authenticity

Inspired by the concept of “Wabi-sabi,” a lifestyle originated from Japanese aesthetics, the designer creates a residence second to none. With help of a 40-year-old craftsmanship experience, the designer portrays the pure, yet extraordinary joy of life, by the colors and lustre of wood. Darker tones of material combinations set up a clear and neat space, offering also a great amount of storage for the resident’s need. The ingenious spatial arrangement and lighting design adopt an original approach to the scenery of home, making it pure, elegant yet lively and glamorous.

Tranquility and Zen as its theme, the design aims to offer a big amount of storage room and a quality life. In order to make the space look visually comfortable, the designer simplifies combinations that might get complicated, applying different structures to layer up the space but avoiding using too many colors. Steel items and wooden materials of darker palette creates a rough yet graceful atmosphere. A glass brick wall, with a great amount of natural lights and various-colored lights embedded in the space, both serve to light up the darker-colored tone.
