Angels and Demons

《Angels and Demons》This work uses titanium alloy and diamond, Hotan Jade. Using modeling design, titanium alloy 3D printing technology, surface electrolytic plating technology, jade carving technology, and diamond irregular cutting technology.

The creative inspiration for the work comes from a trip to the Vatican, which is a philosophical reflection on beauty. The work looks like a beautiful magnolia from a distance, but upon closer inspection, it reveals a snake devouring the flower. The image of the flower and snake breaks the tranquility and harmony of the flower. Under static conditions, flowers and branches are beautiful, while under dynamic conditions, snakes devour terror. In this work, there is no boundary between beauty and ugliness, and goodness and evil are also blurred.

Using jewelry to express an aesthetic reflection, what are beauty and goodness? The world is not entirely good or bad, beautiful or ugly, what matters is how we view the world. The work broadens the traditional approach of Jewellery design, and expresses the thinking of beauty with Eastern philosophy and western crafts. Telling the myth of human original sin through technology and philosophy.
