A Villa in Cuihu Fragrant Hills

This case is an interior design project. As the proprietor family are all structural engineers, with unique understanding of Chinese traditional architectural space, the case should manifest the romantic feelings in traditional Chinese designs, in addition to meeting the functional needs of the family. It will also integrate modernity with tradition to create the unique charm of the new Chinese style living space.

Though stemming from the traditional Chinese classical culture, the new Chinese style is in no way mere stacking of traditional elements. The designer incorporates Chinese style decorative elements, such as lines, colors, shapes, and wooden grilles, into the modern design, to foster an aesthetic sentiment that conforms to the requirements of modern life, display the rich oriental Zen style, as well as creative aesthetics.
