A Drop of Ink on Modernity

The project is designed in simple style and adopts dark black and white as the main tones, creating a unique space with minimalist lines. The designer adopts the stone materials as the foundation and dark walnut wood as the embellishment, and maintains the continuous sight and smooth circulation in the open space. Configuration that can be used flexibly in the space, which reflects the owner’s hospitality and personality.

The French windows in the living room and the balcony naturally introduce the sunlight to the space. Sunlight lightens up the space, where dark stone and wooden objects look simple and clean. The whole space is separated by the long hallway and different areas are divided in order according to their functions. In order to increase the longevity of the house and reduce the harmful substances in the space, natural mineral paints are used, which is functional and allows family members and friends sit directly on the floor during their gathering.

The living room and the study room are separated by a half wall and the glass to increase the layers of the space. Wooden grille installed brings a sense of stability and eliminates the feeling of compression.
