The famous German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe once said, “Less is more.” This concept has inspired the designers of this project to create a sharp and comfortable living atmosphere by using the simple Japanese style as the main spatial focus. Presenting the space purely and soothes the residents' minds and bodies while enhancing the residents’ quality and taste. In addition, since the homeowner has many art pieces, the designer has thoughtfully placed them as soft furnishings in the space to create the owner's unique style of living. In the interior space, warm gray tones and wood elements are planned for the white base to create a natural and warm spatial expression. A few stainless steel metallic and green objects are used as finishing touches to the space. In the public area, the designers have integrated the living room, dining room, and kitchen with an open space plan to provide a spacious activity area for the homeowners. At the same time, the three areas are arranged on the same spatial focus, allowing natural light to flow into the room and illuminate the entire space. Entering the kitchen, one will see the wooden kitchenware and cabinets are used with stainless steel countertops and equipment, giving the cooking space a simple tone and a warm atmosphere at the same time. Moving slowly to the bedroom, one will see the space is rendered in simple and rustic colors to create a comfortable and cozy resting environment. Among them are overhead cabinets, multiple storage cabinets, and laminates to meet the residents' needs for storage. The simple colors and functional configuration make the space neat and sharp in the bathroom. The project is mainly planned in white space, with the right soft furnishings to add details to the simple space so that every corner is worthy of a closer look.
