Gurgling Lush Spring in Forest

This project’s previous residence was a house along the mountain that was constructed ten years ago. In that the prior building’s construction, lighting, and airflow could not satisfy the owner’s desire for a comfortable retirement, the design team try to meet the owner’s expectations for a modern residence, reorganize the shattered space, and significantly improve the sense of hierarchy and practicality of the space. By doing so, they create a building which is aesthetically pleasing and meaningful, and mix poetry and life in one place.
In detail, the waterscape is chosen by the designer as the medium for bridging indoor and outdoor spaces since it not only replicates a sense of natural rhythm but also keeps the room’s vibrant life.
The interior’s transparent design style brings the stunning mountain scenery inside, blending the indoor luxury with the nearby mountain’s flowing haze and the lush trees in front of the court. As a result, people could feel more calm and relaxed in their daily life. Furthermore, the four seasons could be observed in the room, achieving a harmonious effect between men and nature.
