At the beginning of its establishment, Chung Yuan Christian University chose a tranquil red soil as its campus location. This red soil is situated in the heart of Zhongli,Taoyuan region,offering pleasant environment. However, the unique soil quality posed unprecedented challenges to the creation of the university.
As time passed, Chung Yuan Christian University continued to grow and expand on this red soil, witnessing rapid campus development. The red soil symbolizing every milestone of Chung Yuan Christian University's journey and showcasing its distinctive charm and character.
The auditorium be named "Red Auditorium." This name exudes vitality and enthusiasm, symbolizing the passionate atmosphere of art and performances while harmoniously integrating with the regional culture of Chung Yuan Christian University.
Green and sustainable architecture: Red Auditorium's design will emphasize green building and sustainability. It will adopt energy-efficient and eco-friendly construction materials while incorporating a smart natural ventilation and lighting system. Red Auditorium will become a cultural emblem of Chung Yuan Christian University.
