Pemara Design is an Irish furniture and design company with roots deep in the Danish furniture traditions, focusing on developing their own unique designs. The company was founded by Danish designer Per Ploug, who has worked in the furniture industry for more than 20 years as a kitchen designer. Combining his many years of experience, his engineering skills and his knowledge of good interior design, made him form and create a unique dining table, which soon after was put into production. Other products, such as a complimentary bench and chairs, coffee table, bar stool and more have since followed. The products are available through selected furniture retailers in Ireland, UK, Denmark and UAE. Pemara Design is always looking for new retailers who would take on the products.

The Veizla Table is made from solid wood, assembled with a unique steel bracket. The under-carriage is constructed by assembling three parts (legs and stretcher) in the core points, with a bracket top and bottom. The bracket makes it possible to flat-pack the table for transport and distribution. The table is made from edge-glued panels, which makes it environmentally sustainable and possible to produce in any type of hardwood available to suit all interiors.

Veizla Side Table
The Veizla Side Table is a further product line development of the unique furniture designed and produced by Pemara Design. Its tripod legs are based on the same angles and splaying as for the Veizla Dining Table. The table top is a fusion of an equilateral triangle and a circle. Formal yet playful. Placed between two easy chairs by a wall, the shape invites conversation and social interaction. Placed with a statement chair in a corner of a room, the table sits snugly to the chairs side.

The Graphium chair (named after the butterfly genus Graphium, which shape inspired the design of the back rest) is a 3-legged chair. A chair has many criteria to overcome. As well as being aesthetically pleasing, it must be strong, sturdy, light, and comfortable... The Graphium chair excells in all these criteria.
