Glass artist Sini Majuri works in Helsinki, Finland. Her works have been exhibited in the USA, Japan, China, Europe and Canada. She has also been awarded for her work at Beijing Fashion Week in China. She combines 3D-design with old glass blowing techniques. Many of her works are surrealistic stories captured inside blown glass.

Spike lamp is studio made from ceramics and recycled metal. Spike plays with contrasts. It reflect to spiky fashion of punk culture yet to calm Scandinavian mood. It is a voluminous piece, yet the warm light is focused only into a small pointy area under the piece.

ABOUT

The River vase is studio made from mouth blown glass. Every vessel has unique water like flow of color. Collection mixes Scandinavian cool with capricious Finnish glass blowing techniques that allow color flow freely within the glass layers.

ABOUT

Studio made Purnu collection is hand shaped from mouth blown glass. The jar is suitable for food, but it is also beautiful with nothing at all in it. Unique hand shaped object fits well in every interior. Every object has their own breath. It’s a methaphor for a soul of a piece that makes it more than mere interior object.
