ABOUT

As an extension of the "Tape art by tape that 2.0" exhibition, while commemorating one of the biggest annual events in Kaohsiung, Taiwan - The Taiwan Lantern Festival, TAPE THAT uses glow tapes, which absorb sunlight in the daytime and glow at night, and luminous foils, and turns a train into a moving lantern, the first train lights up without any electrical power in the world. The story of Kaohsiung is transformed into a series of murals on the train.

In this nearly 100-year-old building, they try to unite literature with emotional elements to create a literary compound space suitable for modern use and bring to life the emotional atmosphere of the writer's words through the five senses.

ABOUT

Working on-site, all artists include the spatiality in their themes of Camouflage, illusion, mirror house, and night-view corridor. They added brilliant sounds and light to make the event an immersive art milieu. Taking advantage of the easy to adhere, tear and change, tape artists expand the possibilities of tape art to the extreme. With sophisticated orders and skills, the lines and colors of tapes transformed the plain space into a fancy place of great aesthetics and fun. For example, in the Camouflage area, visitors can put on the outfit of the same patterns of the works and completely hide in the work.
