Fabrizio Constanza is one of today’s most influential artist and designer from Guatemala. Over the last 25 years, he has consistently challenged the traditional boundaries between visual and functional Art. He has established as the most awarded and recognized studio furniture designer in the region. His body of work includes Conceptual Art and Functional Art. His inspiration comes from the emotions generated by existence: The passage of time, reflections of the world, past nostalgia and future signs. Fabrizio captures and materializes emotions in Art and Design. Fabrizio’s design process has been applied in projects, which go from architecture and interior design to consulting in commercial and private projects. His work has been published in Art Market Magazine, DM Design Magazine, Design Milk, Design You Trust, Yahoo News Business, San Francisco Gate, Timesunion.com, ID Magazine and Architecture and Design Colorado, to mention a few.

Functional art entrance table
It is a two piece Art and Design object that provides flexibility for today’s multifunctional spaces. The composition is defined by a smooth main wood platform and a dynamic mobile steel secondary table. Under artistic appreciation, the composition’s shapes, colors and strengths, are well balanced and integrated. Individually, each piece emphasizes its uniqueness. The main wood form is elegant, smooth, and static. The secondary metal form is red, lively and dynamic.

The composition is based on four elements: function, form, colour, and light. The product is design to work as Entrance table. The form is produce with minimum lines and curves but with sharp angles that trap light and transform the colour tones. Colour is a great aspect of the objects. The right colour is essential for the shape and the light to create the best viewer experience. Light striking the piece makes the motionless object to become alive as Natural light moves during the day.
Interstellar is a commissioned work developed for hospitality or residential application. The composition is defined by a smooth star looking metal base and a square or round glass top. Under artistic appreciation, shapes, colors and strengths, are well balanced and integrated. The main characteristic of the design is its off center main intersection point that produces elegant asymmetrical characteristic.
